Riders' Tips

  British Horse Society Training

The British Horse Society, to which the Riding Club is affiliated, runs professional and non professional exams in stable management and equitation which our members can take. If there is enough genuine interest we may be able to organise some sessions or even a course leading to one or more of the BHS exams.

Check out Hacking and Special Events for more details of guest instructors, day courses, etc.

Ariel Riding Club Library & Magazines

We also have a library where you can read up on all things to do with riding and horse management. Kate Powell is the custodian.

We subscribe to Your Horse and Horse & Rider, if you would like to be added to the circulation list, Email Hilka Querl.

Don't forget the Club has many experienced members and you can always ask them about good books to perhaps buy and read.
